What is Utah Fits All?
The Utah Fits All Scholarship Program (UFA) is a education savings account (ESA) initiative launched by the State of Utah. Beginning in 2024, families can receive $8,000 per student annually for approved educational expenses.
- January 21, 2025: Application window opens for returning scholarship students
- March 3, 2025: Application window opens for new applicants
- April 30, 2025: Application window closes for all applicants
- May 1, 2025: Application window closes for all applicants
- Within 30 days after portal closes: Scholarship awards will be announced for the 2025–2026 academic year. ​Utah Education Fits All
📅 Key Dates
- Private School Students: Up to $8,000 per year
- Homeschool Students:
- • Ages 5–11: Up to $4,000 per year
- • Ages 12–18: Up to $6,000 per year
Scholarship Amounts
Eligibility Criteria
All K–12 students who are residents of Utah qualify to receive the scholarship, whether they currently attend public, private, homeschool, or are eligible to start kindergarten in the upcoming school year. Utah Education Fits All

- Achievement Tracking: Documentation of either a portfolio or proof of the administration of an assessment must be submitted for each scholarship student by June 30, 2025. ​
Application Requirements
- 1. Students who used a scholarship account in the previous school year.
- 2. Students who did not use a scholarship account in the previous school year and have a family income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level.
- 3. Siblings of eligible students.​
- 4. All remaining applicants.​
Enrollment Preference Categories
The law gives an order preference to eligible students for scholarship awards
- Dual Enrollment: A student receiving a scholarship cannot simultaneously be enrolled in a public school, district, or charter, where they are counted as a student by the public school for funding purposes.
- Family Income: The income of the family is used to determine the family's income level and the family's income level is used to determine the family's income level for scholarship purposes.
